The TFS#9 Hackfest will take place in Castelldefels 19-22 May 2026. The event will focus on in-depth code debugging and comprehensive testing of TeraFlowSDN framework, bringing participants together to identify issues, improve stability, and optimise overall system performance.

The TFS#9 Hackfest will be hosted by CTTC in their premises in Castelldefels, Barcelona, Spain, on 19-22 May 2026, 9 am to 5 pm. This hackfest will co-located with:

Scope

The TFS#9 Hackfest is a hands-on event designed to foster collaboration among new and experienced TFS developers and users who will be working together with TeraFlowSDN.

The TFS#9 Hackfest will be collocated with the TFS#9 Plenary meeting as well as the F5G#26 Plenary meetings, making it an excellent opportunity for cross-community collaboration and networking.

Prerequisites

• Registration is mandatory, seats are limited!.

• Join the #hackfest9-2026-may channel in the TFS Community Slack Workspace

• Bring your laptop with

  • VirtualBox 7
  • The standard VirtualBox Extension Pack installed
    • Configure and connect the VM to the NAT network as described in ETS TFS Deployment Guide
  • VSCode with Remote Development Extension

• A VirtualBox-based Virtual Machine will be provided with pre-installed material

  • You need to download it, and install it.
  • Required if you want to engage in the hands-on activities.
