TFS#7 Hackfest

Registration is open, seats are limited: book yours today!

The TFS#7 Hackfest will take place in Castelldefels 19-22 May 2025. The event will be dedicated to the integration of a Network Slice Controller (NSC) with TeraFlowSDN.

Overview

The TFS#7 Hackfest will be hosted by CTTC in their premises in Castelldefels, Barcelona, Spain, on 19-22 May 2025, 9 am to 5 pm. This hackfest will be co-located with:

Venue

 CTTC - Building B4 - Auditorium
Parc Mediterrani de la Tecnologia (PMT)
 Av. Carl Friedrich Gauss 7
 08860 - Castelldefels
 Barcelona, Spain

Scope

The TFS#7 Hackfest is a hands-on event designed to foster collaboration among new and experimented TFS developers that will be working together on the integration of a new Network Slice Controller (NSC) with TeraFlowSDN. The NSC is a new component in TFS, that will be developed by a new Module Development Group - MDG NSC.

This Hackfest will focus on enhancing slicing capabilities within the TFS ecosystem by leveraging NSC’s container-based approach to IETF Network Slice lifecycle management.

Prerequisites

  • Registration is mandatory, seats are limited! A TFS mug will be given in a FIFO basis.
  • Join the #hackfest7-2025-may channel in the TFS Community Slack Workspace
  • Bring your laptop with VirtualBox 7 and the standard VirtualBox Extension Pack installed if you want to engage in the hands-on activities. A VirtualBox-based Virtual Machine is provided with pre-installed material (see Hackfest Material), you just need to download it, uncompress it and install it.

Registration

Participation to TFS Hackfests is free and open to all upon registration. Seats are limited, book yours today!
