The TFS#8 Hackfest took place online. The event was dedicated to code debugging and feature testing within the TeraFlowSDN framework.
Overview
The TFS#8 Hackfest took place remotely from 18-21 November 2025, allowing participants to join the hands-on sessions from their home or office.

Scope
The TFS#8 Hackfest event was held online from 18-21 November 2025.
The Hackfest showcased the newest features of TFS Release 6 and addressed testing and validation of them. In that sense, the Hackfest fostered collaboration among both new and experienced TFS users and developers, with particular emphasis on those who were new to TFS.
It took the form of tutorials followed by hands-on lab exercises in the form of challenges completed by participants, and was dedicated to code debugging, bug fixing, and feature testing within the latest TeraFlowSDN Release 6 framework.
The event spanned from Tuesday to Friday with daily sessions.
Briefing Sessions was recorded, allowing everyone to follow up at their own pace after the event.

You will need a laptop (Windows, Linux, Mac are fine) with:

An SSH Client Installed, e.g. MobaXTerm, PuTTY, etc.

VSCode with Remote Development Extension

ETSI VPN Client installed
- You need to request a VPN account, if you do not already have one.

ETSI will provide pre-configured VMs on their cloud (accessible through ETSI VPN) to all the participants.
